I’m Jordan. A person who enjoys connecting to the world and the wonderful people in it through photography
"The introspective lens" perfectly encapsulates why i enjoy photography: focusing on the inner essence of life around me through a simple lens.
I've always been the kind of person who likes to observe and ponder. I feel like that's why I latched on to photography: with camera in hand it gives me the opportunity to stop, notice, and reflect on moments & things that make me feel something.

"What looks nonchalant is more calculated than it seems. You must work with discipline, with focus, with drive. Yet at the same time be open to the fact that portraiture is less about perfection and more about letting the magic unfold."

My Photographic Philosophy

I believe a great portrait is simple, yet profound. More real to who someone is at that point in space & time than a staged presence. It may sound easy, but it can be difficult when someone has a camera pointed in your direction.
My main goal of a portrait is to connect with a human being and help them be a more authentic version of themselves. I have a camera in hand, that will show up and make for beautiful and real photos.
